CBS reports Russian spy ship off Delaware’s coast

February 15, 2017

CBS News reported at noon Feb. 14 that a Russian spy ship was traveling off Delaware's coast, heading to a substation in Connecticut.

CBS reported the ship, known as an AGI or auxiliary, general intelligence, made a port call in Cuba, was working its way up the east coast and was expected to head back to Cuba after reaching the sub base in New London, Conn.

Calls made by the Cape Gazette to the Pilot's Association for the Bay and River Delaware about the ship went unanswered. A representative with the U.S. Coast Guard in Philadelphia said a public affairs representative was immediately unavailable.
