Chair yoga demo set at Pain Linx meeting Nov. 8

November 6, 2016

The community is invited to a free demonstration class of chair yoga at the Pain Linx Support Group meeting from 2 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Lewes library. Raylen Williams, wellness coach at Beebe Healthcare, will be leading the demonstration. This is for all ages. No previous yoga experience is needed. Yoga and chair yoga have been shown to help increase flexibility, as well as reduce stress and anxiety.

Williams graduated from University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Her exploration of movement began with martial arts and working in the physical therapy field. Her certifications include yoga, meditation, Balanced Athlete Coach and reiki. She is currently working towards her Mind Body Fitness Coach certification.

Pain Linx is a free support group for people living with chronic pain that meets from 2 to 3 p.m., the second Tuesday of each month at the Lewes Public Library. It is sponsored by Beebe’s Integrative Health Department and facilitated by Rita Williams, health coach. For more information, call 302-645-3528.
