Lawns Unlimited has announced Charity Givens is its new tree and shrub specialist.

Early spring is the perfect time to begin planning for the health of trees and shrubs, and protecting them from many insects and diseases in the area. Sometimes the signs are obvious, but other times they are hard to identify.

For eight years, she was a chemical sales representative and provided services to lawn care companies and golf courses. She holds a Delaware pesticide license and attends recertification classes to stay up to date with anything new in the industry. During five years as a plant healthcare specialist with a local company, Givens diagnosed all aspects of issues on trees and shrubs, and developed treatment plans to help them become healthy again.
