Charles Durante elected fellow of American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Charles J. Durante, a partner at the law firm of Connolly Gallagher LLP, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the nation's leading organization for lawyers who practice in that field.

ACTEC is a select organization of lawyers from the U.S. and Canada, chosen by their peers for outstanding contributions to the practice of trust and estate law, based on "the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors, having made substantial contributions to the field of trusts and estates law through writing, teaching and bar leadership activities."

Durante is chairman of the Board of Editors of Delaware Lawyer, a quarterly publication of the Delaware Bar Foundation, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Delaware State Bar Association. He is past chairman of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, and of the Wilmington Tax Group. He received the Alumni Award of Haverford College in 1998, and is a member of the Delaware Track and Field Hall of Fame.
