Charles H. Fenton Jr. loved debating politics

Charles H. Fenton Jr., 69, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away after a long battle with complications from diabetes, Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at his home. He was born Tuesday, April 6, 1948, in Wilmington, son of the late Charles and Beatrice "Betty" (Dennison) Fenton.

Mr. Fenton graduated from Conrad High School in Wilmington. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, playing billiards and watching football. Mr. Fenton was known for his love of debating politics but his favorite thing to do was spoil his only grandson.

Mr. Fenton is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Fenton of Rehoboth Beach; his daughter, Amanda Wobeter and her husband Joseph of Milton; his beloved grandson, Jessen Wobeter of Milton; his sister, Betty Leslie and her husband John of Newark; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends who will dearly miss him.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes. Entombment followed the services at Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
