Children’s author to read at Browseabout Books Oct. 1

Author and illustrator Jill Perry Carpenter's first children's book is about a homeless, big–hearted pit bull who thinks he just might want a special someone to love him.

She will appear at Browseabout Books at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, to read "The Street Dog." Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the author and buy a signed and inscribed copy at a special reduced price following the reading.
