Clark E. Woodring, Local Union 100 member

Clark E. Woodring, 85, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born Thursday, July 23, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Clark E. Woodring Sr. and Edith (McNeill) Woodring.
 
Mr. Woodring was a graduate of Brown Technical School in Wilmington, where he learned his trade as a painter and wallpaper hanger of Local Union 100. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served for four years.
 
Mr. Woodring was a member of the Lewes Radio Controlled Airplane Club, where he built and flew airplanes, as well as the Delaware Radio Control Club in New Castle County. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro, and Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach.
 
Mr. Woodring is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Harriet N. Woodring of Rehoboth Beach; his two sons, Clark E. Woodring III (Diana) and Mark E. Woodring (Cindy); his daughter, Carol E. Tedesco; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Nancy Buchanan.
 
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m., at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.
 
Burial will be held Friday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m., at Gracelawn Cemetery, 2220 N. Dupont Parkway, New Castle.
 
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
