Clinton “Doc” L. Vick, mentor, nurturer

Clinton “Doc” L. Vick, 67 passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, surrounded by his family.

He served in the Navy with two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar, fishing, walks along the beach, and always appreciating a beautiful sunset. He never stopped studying and obtained many licenses, diplomas and PHD degree. He was successful in all his ventures, business and pleasure, always mentoring and nurturing his protégés. His words of wisdom are remembered, and will always influence the lives he touched. We will never forget this strong, outspoken, comedic much loved character.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Vick; sons, Edward A Yates Jr. (Stacy), and Eric Yates (Renee); grandsons, Edward Yates and Evan Yates; and granddaughter, Ciara Yates.

Services will be private.
