Clubhouse at Baywood is a celebration destination

December 5, 2017

More than 600 diners sat down to a sold-out Thanksgiving buffet dinner at The Clubhouse at Baywood, which is becoming a popular spot for some holiday festivities. The Clubhouse, located in the golf course community of Baywood Greens in Millsboro, already has buffets planned for Easter Sunday, April 1, and Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13.

"We're very proud of our staff, who worked so hard to create a memorable meal for our customers on Thanksgiving," said Danielle Panarello, director of operations for the restaurant and banquet facility, which is part of SoDel Concepts. "The event sold out quickly. Many of our customers are frequent diners who decided to enjoy a relaxing Thanksgiving without all the cooking and cleanup. We're honored that they chose The Clubhouse for their holiday."

The buffet included such gourmet tidbits as duck paté and gougère, as well as oven-roasted turkey, smoked ham and herb-crusted salmon. Traditional sides such as mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and stuffing were also on the table.

Last year's Mother's Day and Easter buffets were equally popular. "Our guests are discovering that The Clubhouse is ideal for group events, whether they're dining together in the restaurant or booking a private event in our banquet space," Panarello said. "We're thrilled that we've become a hub for celebrations of all kinds."
