Concerned about Belltown church proposal

May 26, 2017

I live in Henlopen Landing, and I have many concerns about the rezoning and redevelopment of the Belltown church property. This property is being rezoned for a homeless shelter. Unfortunately, the concerns of many of the communities around this area are not being heard or properly informed about the details of this request.

Many residents in the Henlopen Landing community have varying views on this subject. My opinion is for the safety of the community and the residents that live in this area, and I do not want the shelter located at the Belltown church property due to higher crime, drugs, theft and the safety of the residents of the community. It does not belong in a residential area.
