Cottage Café fundraiser to benefit children with cancer April 30

The Cottage Café and the Get Well Gabby Foundation are working together to help children who are diagnosed with cancer. A dine and donate event is set for  5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, April 30. A portion of dinner proceeds will be donated to the foundation, and there will be a basket raffle and a 50/50 drawing as well. Several favorite princesses will be on hand to meet and greet young guests and pose for photos with them.

The Get Well Gabby Foundation is dedicated to providing funds for hospital initiatives, supporting childhood cancer research, and providing financial assistance for children in Delaware and Eastern Pennsylvania who are currently battling cancer.

The foundation was formed by the parents of Gabby Vogel, who passed away in 2011 from a rare form of brain cancer. The foundation goal is to help more children get well.
