CPA Bacchi joins Fins Hospitality as CFO

May 28, 2017

Fins has been undergoing a lot of change and growth lately, opening new locations and reorganizing under the umbrella of Fins Hospitality Group. With those changes have come new employees, like Alicia Bacchi. Bacchi is a CPA and started her career in public accounting after graduation from Ursinus College. She's a Pennsylvania native who quickly discovered that restaurant accounting would be her specialty after acquiring her first client, the French Quarter Bistro in Royersford, Pa.

In 2012, after relocating to Maryland, she began working for Bergey & Company PA where she handled the account for Fins owner Jeff Hamer. Her love of sports and concerts drove her back to the Philly region, but Hamer was quick to follow, offering her the opportunity to maintain the accounts even at a distance as a part-time job.

Shortly after, Hamer led the charge on rapid growth for the group, and Bacchi made the easy decision to come back to the Eastern Shore and join the group on a full-time basis.

"Jeff is a fantastic boss, and the environment at Fins is one of a kind. I look forward to the future and growing with the Fins Family," said Bacchi.
