Crystal Lynn ‘Sissy’ Betts, surrounded by love

Crystal Lynn "Sissy" Betts was born Saturday, Oct. 5, 1985, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes to Patricia and Wells Betts.D She died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Delaware Hospice, Milford.

She resided at the Dudley Spencer House in Laurel and worked at the Delaware MENTOR in Millsboro.  She graduated from Howard T. Ennis School in Georgetown in 2007, at 21 years of age.

Sissy loved jumping on the trampoline, swinging, bowling, dancing, singing and just "being silly" in general.  She enjoyed spaghetti, dumplings and  peanut M&Ms.  Her favorite dining place was  McDonalds restaurant. Everyone who got to know her fell in love with her.  

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Martha Rose Evans Betts; and one uncle, Jimmy "Gum Gum" Tyre.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Cetin Aytac; her father and stepmother, Wells and Kathy Betts; and two sisters, Danielle Leonard and Brittany McKirby.
Sissy also leaves to mourn her loss, her maternal grandparents, Audrey and Tommy Leggs; and her paternal grandparents, Irvin and Nancy Betts, along with two nieces, Amelia Kondash, Chloe Kondash, one nephew, Chase Leonard, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday May 20, at 2 p.m., at Victory Tabernacle Church of God  28261 Seaford Road Laurel. Family and friends may visit or call two hours prior to service.
