Hope and inspiration were abundant at the 6th Annual Wings of Hope butterfly release held Sept. 10. Held on the grounds of the Medical Arts Building on John J. The Cancer Support Community thanks those that made the event possible including our volunteers and the following community partners: the Cape Gazette, WBOC, CAT Country 97.5, WRDE, Beebe Healthcare, M&T Bank, SecureNetMD, Sposato Landscape, Grotto Pizza, Jack Lingo Realtor, LB Organizational Consulting, Grace United Methodist Church, Tidewater Utilities, Cape Henlopen Elks, Oasis Healing Center, Epworth Church, Village Salon & Spa, and Tomato Sunshine.

A special thank you was given to Sara Ann Garrison, Doug James and Sara Freign for providing wonderful music for the event, and to the Lewes Fire Department, Sussex County Mobile Library, Village Improvement Association, Home Depot, LB Organizational Consulting, Realtor Nitan Soni, WBOC, CAT Country, Beebe Healthcare and Abbott's Mill Nature Center for providing a great variety of activities for the event.

The Cancer Support Community is part of a national nonprofit organization that provides support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease. At the Cancer Support Community-Delaware, all programs are offered at no charge to participants. More information about Cancer Support Community is available at www.cancersupportdelaware.org.
