Cynthia Snow Gardner, heath dept. retiree
Cynthia Snow Gardner, 84 of Ellendale, went to her eternal resting place Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. She was born June 20, 1932, in Springfield, Mass., a daughter of the late Donald T. and Ruth R. (Smith) Snow.
Cynthia was a graduate of Bay Path University and retired from the Maryland Health Department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James; and her brothers, Donald and Douglas.
Cynthia is survived by her son, James (Christine) Gardner of Ellendale, daughter, Elizabeth (Kirk) Vermillion of Crofton, Md., and son Douglas (Sherry) Gardner of Woodbine, Md.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, at noon, at Long Neck United Methodist Church, 32015 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, or Seniors Helping Seniors, 26279 Bayside Drive, Long Neck, DE 19966.
