Mary Lee Phillips of Millsboro joined the Major Nathaniel Mitchell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at the March 11 meeting. Chaplain Pam Banning was the inductor, and Regent Barbara Paulish pinned the DAR pin onto Phillips. Phillips is a descendant of William Ross, who was a pilot for the Chevaux de Frize during the Revolutionary War and a native of Sussex County. The chapter is located in the Georgetown area and welcomes new members. For more information, contact Cathy Hudson at 302-856-7904.
