DART extends daily Beach Bus Service on two routes through Sept. 24

DART's regular daily Beach Bus service ended Sept. 10; however, service is being extended on popular routes 201 and 208 through Sept. 24. The areas of Lewes, along the Route 1 corridor, Rehoboth Boardwalk, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City, Md., are served by these bus routes that will continue to provide greater access to jobs, shopping and entertainment.

• 201 - Red Line provides service between DART's Lewes Park & Ride, located just south of Five Points, along Route 1 corridor to Tanger Outlets, Rehoboth Park & Ride and the Rehoboth Boardwalk, operating every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Lewes Park & Ride offers free parking; Rehoboth Park & Ride parking is free during the extension.

• 208 - Blue Line operates between the Rehoboth Park & Ride, Dewey Beach, Indian River Inlet, Bethany Beach, South Bethany, Fenwick Island and Ocean City. Service operates every two hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with free parking at the Rehoboth Park & Ride during the extension.
