David ‘Buddy’ Matthews Jr., had infectious humor

David Alfred "Buddy" Matthews Jr., 76, of Lewes and Fort Myers Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully and in the presence of his family Friday, June 23, 2017.

Buddy was born March 27, 1941. Buddy enjoyed rabbit hunting, riding his BSA motorcycle and being on the water. In his later years he enjoyed cooking, tending his roses, and flat out tinkering in his workshop. His infectious humor kept his captive audience on edge! Buddy was the social butterfly of the post and would never stretch the truth in a story. He will be sorely missed by his extensive family and friends.
