David P. Lathbury, heavy equipment operator

David P. Lathbury, 58, of Dagsboro, passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford.
He was born in Lewes, June 10, 1959, son of the late Robert W. Lathbury and the late Ethel Mae (Smith) Lathbury. He was a heavy equipment operator before his disability.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, going to the beach and spending time in Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Orvil Lathbury. He is survived by his four children, Shana Lathbury of Millsboro, Jeannie L. Parkhurst of Mardela, Md., Orvil C. Lathbury of Frankford and Jonathan Lathbury of Bishopville, Md.; two grandchildren, Nicholas Parkhurst and Carter Parkhurst; and two sisters, Ethel Truitt of Dagsboro and Barbara Phillips of Dagsboro.
