Deborah A. Denike, Dagsboro resident

Deborah A. Denike of Dagsboro passed away at home unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017. 

She was born June 27, 1951, in Wilmington to the late Robert and Rita Abbott.

Debbie leaves behind cherished daughter and son-in-law Mary Christine and Chuck Rhin; son, Christopher Denike; and three granddaughters, Brianna (Andrew) Jungles, and Pyper and Charli Rhine.

She is also survived by five siblings, Robert (Margaret) Abbott, Elizabeth Swift, Kathleen (Harry) Moore, Judith Abbott, Jeanette Abbott, and many nieces and nephews. 

Debbie was preceded in death by husband James Denike; brother-in-law, Francis Swift; sister, Virginia Cebanka; nephews, Theodore and Robert Cebanka and nephew Dustin Walker. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
