Deborah Mae St. Fleur, St. John’s member

Deborah Mae St. Fleur of Salisbury, Md., died Saturday Nov. 26, 2016. Ms. St. Fleur was born April 9, 1948, in Selbyville, to the late Henry Whaley and Lillie Mae Shelton.

She attended school at Berlin Elementary in Berlin, Md., and graduated from Worcester High School in 1966. She was employed with the National Cash Register for a period of years, then leaving to seek employment with Mountaire of Selbyville.

She enjoyed spending her leisure time reading various books, and seeking out the company of her family. She was an active member of St. John's Baptist Church, Millsboro, participating in multiple church activities.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Whaley; sister, Madeline Lee; and grandmother Minnie Showell.

She is mourned by her son, Etienne St. Fleur of Salisbury; three grandchildren, Linda, Etienne Jr., and Pedro; her sisters, Barbara Baker of Linden, N.J., Carrie Hall of New Castle, Constance LaFate of Lake Ridge, Va., and Eileen Shelton of Selbyville; her brothers, Larry (Shirley) Shellton of Millsboro, Charles (Sabrina) Shelton of Frankford, Alaric (Marleen) Shelton of Cool Springs, and Douglas (Barbara) Hall of Salisbury; a host of nieces and nephews; and close friends.

The service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at St. Johns Baptist Church, Millsboro. The Rev. Annie Custis will officiate. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday at the church Burial will be at Curtis United Methodist Church Cemetary, Bishopville Arrangements are by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
