December 23, 2016

The Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village is hosting its second annual banquet and auction beginning at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, at the museum in Dover. This is an opportunity to have an evening of fun as well as learn of the museum's mission and to see the many great exhibits and collections. Museum trustee Ben Twilley will serve as auctioneer again this year.

The multi-course dinner is being catered by Abbott's Grill and will be served at 6:30 p.m.. The doors open at 5 p.m., with social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m., so guests can view the many live and silent auction items and the raffle prizes. Tickets are $75 per person or $130 per couple and include a banquet special one-year membership to the museum.

Tables of eight can be reserved for $550, which will include four couple memberships and a mention in the commemorative dinner booklet and program. Ads will be sold for the booklet. This booklet will once again share the history of agriculture in Delaware and be produced by trustee Dick Carter.

The museum is private and depends on memberships, admissions and donations. For more information, go to www.www.agriculturalmuseum.org.
