Delaware Watercolor Society, Delaware By Hand reception set Nov. 3 in Dover
The Biggs Museum of American Art will host a reception from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, to meet the artists of its Delaware Watercolor Society exhibit and its Delaware By Hand Masterworks exhibit.
In partnership with the Delaware Watercolor Society, the Biggs Museum will exhibit watercolor paintings by this group's best and brightest in a juried competition. Over 50 works will be featured; many will be for sale.
Every three years, the Biggs Museum hosts a juried competition of its Delaware By Hand artist membership in order to select individual artists who are deemed masters of their crafts. Exhibited works will include a wide range of mediums. Featured artists are Elizabeth Bard, Kaitlin Bennett, Paula Carmenzind, Howard Eberle, Mike Quattrociocchi, Hank Rhodes, Peter Saenger and Merrill Smith.
