Delaware Watercolor Society juried exhibit to open Feb. 28, reception set March 3
The Delaware Watercolor Society has been selected to present a members-only, juried exhibition to open Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Ocean City Center for the Arts in Ocean City, Md. Society members are local and regional watercolor and aqueous media artists from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Winners of monetary and merit awards will be announced during a reception set for 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 3. The public is invited to attend.
Ann Crown-Cyr, award-winning artist, former president and founding member of the society, will serve as the juror and awards judge for this exhibition. Joan Fabbri, director of exhibitions, says the upcoming exhibition will feature artwork covering a broad range of subject matter in watercolor, acrylic and more, on a variety of support surfaces including paper, canvas and Yupo.
