The Dewey Beach Buddy Run 5K held Aug. 7 to benefit Best Buddies of Delaware attracted 159 runners and walkers and several athletes who are part of the Best Buddies program.
Doug Hines was the overall winner in 17:21. He was followed by Joey Cintavey in 18:42, Joseph Fia in 19:11, Kenny Krygier in 19:13 and Kevin Durkin in 19:31.
The women’s leaderboard was topped by C. Droback in 21:46. She was followed by Karyne Pedersen in 22:20, Julie Hamilton in 22:55, Renee Baffone in 23:34 and Cailin Kehoe in 23:43.
The Dewey Beach Lions Club provided all-you-can-eat sausage and pancakes after the race.
