August 7, 2017

Diane P. Farrow, 59, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Friday, Feb. 14, 1958, in Ridley Park, Pa., daughter of the late John and Dolores Malone.

Her caring nature evidenced itself in her lifelong career as a registered nurse, as she nurtured and cared for her patients in the critical care unit at Beebe Healthcare. Mrs. Farrow loved traveling, going to the beach, fishing, and had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. Her most treasured moments, however, were those spent with the family she so adored. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Mrs. Farrow is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Farrow of Lewes; her son, Steven Pringle of Dewey Beach; her daughter, Jennifer Cheadle of Smyrna; her brothers: John Malone of Harbeson, Dave Malone of Newtown Square, Pa., and Bill Malone of Torrance, Calif.; and her sister, Barbara Jarrell of Lewes.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway; Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
