DiFebo's dinner to benefit Pathways for Success set March 22

DiFebo's Restaurant in Rehoboth will hold a Cooking for a Cause event to benefit Pathways to Success from 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 22. Pathways to Success supports students attending Cape Henlopen High School, Sussex Technical High School and Seaford High School. Since the program's inception 10 years ago, 98 percent of its students have graduated from high school.

The dinner includes a choice of three appetizers, six entrees and three desserts. Sposato Family Vineyards is the featured wine. Sarah Gilmour, Pathways to Success outreach coordinator, will be in the kitchen as sous chef helping prepare Chicken Katharina, made with her mother's recipe. The cost is $50, with 15 percent of food sales being donated to Pathways to Success, and a 20 percent gratuity.

Other Pathways to Success representatives who will be helping include Executive Director Fay Blake, greeter; board member Maribeth Dockety, bartender; Program Administrator Keda Dorisca, server; and board member Jvonne Oliver, runner.

The evening will include a 50/50 and silent auction with items from local businesses. One of the featured items is a 14k gold diamond ring valued at $1,700.
