Dimitra Yoga supports Rehoboth, Dewey beach patrols

October 12, 2017

Throughout the summer, Dimitra Yoga held beach yoga classes on the sand in Rehoboth and Dewey. The studio collected donations from participants to help the Rehoboth Beach Patrol and Dewey Beach Patrol continue to provide excellence in safety to those who visit area beaches. The staff of Dimitra Yoga recently presented donations to each beach patrol.
RBP Captain Kent Buckson said he appreciated the generous donation, which will be used for the 2018 junior lifeguard program. "Having yogis on the beach promotes a healthy lifestyle and encourages a supportive community in Rehoboth," he said.

DBP Captain Todd Frichtman said the donation will be used for junior lifeguard uniforms and will help fund beach access chairs.

Dimitra Yoga is a community of teachers, students and healers who are dedicated to promoting health and happiness along the beaches and beyond. In addition to mat classes in both Rehoboth and Lewes studios, Dimitra Yoga offers aerial yoga and wellness services in Rehoboth, plus Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Adventures.
