Dolores M. Yingling, former Silver Works employee

Dolores M. Yingling, 89, of Westminster, Md., died peacefully Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Look About Manor. Born Sept. 22, 1927, in Pleasant Valley, Md., she was the daughter of the late Arlene E. (Kemper) Myers and Wilmer A. Myers. She was the wife of the late Kenneth S. Yingling.

She was a devoted wife and mother to her children. She was a homemaker and also worked as a title clerk, worked at the Westminster Hallmark Store and at T. W. Mathers and Silver Works in Rehoboth Beach. She was a lifetime member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Pleasant Valley. She enjoyed bingo and baking and was an avid Orioles fan.

She is survived by children and spouses Sherry and Jimmy Reese of Fort Mill, S.C., Randy Yingling, Mark and Trisha Yingling of York, Pa., and Melissa Stone and fiancé Sam Gore, formerly of Rehoboth Beach, brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Jeannie Myers and former daughter-in-law Martha Ellison, grandchildren; Brandy Lynn Reese, James Reese, Beth Yingling, Aimee Ciszek, Kassy Dalby-Fisher, Michelle Booth, Moses Yingling, David Yingling and Ann Yingling. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Jeffrey Yingling, a sister Shirley Renner and brother Gordon Myers.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 11, at noonm at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, 1427 Pleasant Valley Road, Westminster, with her nephew, Pastor Chris Renner and her Pastor, Rev. Debra Peters Wilcox co-officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until noon. Private interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Look About Manor, 1510 Stone Road, Westminster, MD 21158 or St. Matthew's United Church of Christ.
