Dorothy M. DelNegro, 95, of Georgetown, formerly of Elkton, Md., and Wilmington, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John N. DelNegro, and her daughter, Dorothy Hovanec. She is the beloved mother of James A. DelNegro, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 22, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 23, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 901 North DuPont St., Wilmington. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
