Dover Downs Hotel & Casino was named Statewide Employer of the Year during the 2017 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Employment Awards of Excellence ceremony held April 20.
The awards honor employers who hire, train and maintain positive working relationships with employees who receive temporary assistance for needy families, and clients who have excelled in their new workplace. Award winners were selected by members of the Governor's Welfare Employment Committee.
Dover Downs Hotel & Casino was one of 39 employers nominated for the Employer of the Year award and one of five from Kent County.
