Dozens arrested during drug investigation in Greenwood

Police find drugs, weapons, cash on Unity Lane

More than three dozen Delaware residents are facing drug and weapons charges following a months-long police investigation into a drug-dealing operation in Greenwood.

Police raided eight residences in the unit block of Unity Lane around noon April 13, said Sgt. Richard Bratz of Delaware State Police, and uncovered more than 100 grams of packaged crack cocaine, nearly 4 grams of heroin, marijuana, a loaded .357 Ruger handgun reported stolen in 2016, a loaded 9mm Hi-Point 995 rifle, a .22 caliber handgun, a shotgun, a loaded .380 Browning handgun, ammunition and more than $2,300.00 in suspected drug money.

Members of the Kent County Drug Unit, Kent County Governor's Task Force and the New Jersey National Guard Counterdrug Task Force were assisted by the state police Special Operations Response Team, police from Dover, Harrington and Dewey Beach, and the Delaware Department of Justice. Bratz said the investigation is ongoing.

The following five men from Kent and Sussex counties were jailed at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center and each charged with racketeering, drug dealing, wearing a disguise during a felony, second-degree conspiracy, five counts of possession of a firearm when prohibited, receiving a stolen firearm and three counts of drug possession: Frank Lovett, 29, of Harrington, held on $89,000 secured bail; Jermaine Boyd, 26, of Dover, held on $169,500 cash bail; Mark Boyd, 59, of Greenwood, held on $152,000 cash bail; Joseph Rayshawne Palmer, 25, of Greenwood, held on $152,000.00 cash bond; Shanun Handy, 32, of Greenwood, held on $152,000 cash bond.

Bratz said 36 others also were arrested and charged with drug-related offenses, including endangering the welfare of a child and possessing crack and heroin, during the investigation between January-April 2017:

Stanley Spencer, 47, of Milford, for possessing crack cocaine, heroin and paraphernalia; Joyce Chapman, 49, of Dover, for possessing crack; Frank Lovett, 29 of Greenwood, for resisting arrest; David Vilone, 27, of Harrington, for resisting arrest, tampering with evidence and possessing paraphernalia; Roxanne Higham, 47 of Townsend, for driving under the influence; Vicki Porter, 51 of Harrington, for possessing crack and paraphernalia; Shaynee Boone, 28 of Harrington, for conspiracy and possessing crack; Jacquelyn Schlegel, 30 of Harrington, for conspiracy and possessing crack; Melinda Reed, 28 of Milford, for conspiracy and possessing crack, heroin and paraphernalia; Sarah Reed, 23 of Milford, for conspiracy and possessing crack, heroin and paraphernalia; Carrie Cain, 38 of Milton, for conspiracy and possessing crack, heroin and paraphernalia; Jamie Seeger, 35 of Felton, endangering the welfare of a child, conspiracy and possessing crack; James Obyrne, 23 of Dover, for conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child and possessing crack; Amdrea Farley, 25 of Felton, for endangering the welfare of a child and possessing crack; Melissa Lindenmeier, 35 of Harrington, for conspiracy and possessing crack, heroin and paraphernalia; Reginald Marshall, 36 of Milford, for conspiracy and possessing crack, heroin and paraphernalia; Corey Comstock, 23 of Milford, for possessing crack and paraphernalia; Larry Owens, 55 of Harrington, for possessing marijuana; Douglas Coppock, 26 of Frederica, for possessing crack and paraphernalia; Laurie Wilcutts, 37 of Frederica, for conspiracy and possessing crack and heroin; Ashlee Gillespie, 27 of Harrington, for conspiracy and possessing crack and heroin; Jamie Chrisler, 30 of Dover, for conspiracy and possessing crack and paraphernalia; Tina Herzog, 28 of Milford, for conspiracy and possessing crack and paraphernalia; Gerimino Gomez, 43 of Harrington, for tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia; Angela Evans, 39 of Felton, for conspiracy and possessing heroin and paraphernalia; Eric Estabrook, 39 of Frederica, for conspiracy and possessing heroin and paraphernalia; Randal Reny, 34 of Hartly, for possessing marijuana; Courtney Krebel, 38 of Harrington, for possessing heroin and paraphernalia; Bayard Spence, 27 of Houston, for possessing heroin and paraphernalia; Lilton Stevens, 40 of Harrington, for possessing crack and paraphernalia, and on a charge of intending to deliver crack; Ryan Lefort, 25 of Harrington, for possessing heroin and paraphernalia; Jeremy Howard, 36 of Magnolia, was arrested as a local fugitive; Katherine Leech, 31 of Magnolia was arrested as a local fugitive; Travis Crowe, 41 of Magnolia was arrested as a local fugitive; Ashley Henderson, 26 of Harrington, for criminal solicitation and possessing paraphernalia; Melissa Glenn, 37 of Seaford, was arrested for criminal solicitation and possessing paraphernalia.
