Eastern Sussex Dems to examine voter issues Nov. 2

October 24, 2017

The November luncheon/speakers series of the Eastern Sussex Democratic Club will feature three key participants on the Sussex County business scene Thursday, Nov. 2. Moderated by club member Paulette Rappa, panelists will discuss how business, jobs, the internet, health insurance, and agricultural concerns affect the everyday lives of Sussex County voters including Millennial voters.

Shifting course from prior panels which have addressed choosing and coaching viable political candidates, the club is now examining voter issues and the creation of voter blocs.

Leading the discussion will be keynote speaker Jack Berberian, the founder of LegalZoom.com, who currently runs SecureNetMD, a Sussex County employer. The panel will also include Kenny Bounds, deputy director of the Sussex County Department of Agriculture and a Millennial, and Patterson Schwartz Realtor John Zacharias.

The luncheon will be held  from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Atlantic Sands Hotel, on the Boardwalk at Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. For the cost of $20, folks can indulge in the luncheon buffet as well as listen to the speakers. For those who wish to attend but do not want lunch, the cost of admission is $10. An additional $20 will buy a membership in the Eastern Sussex Democrats Club (all cash or check only).
