Eight Worcester Prep field hockey players named to National Academic Squad

The Keith Waldman Optimal Performance Associates/National Field Hockey Coaches Association has named eight Worcester Prep varsity field hockey players to its National Academic Squad, and two were also recognized as Scholars of Distinction.

The student/athletes honored include: Macayla Costleigh, Kathleen Emche, Ronnie Ferrell, Leigh Lingo, Regan Lingo, Eva Parks, Ava Schwartz and Hope Sens.

The National Academic Squad program recognizes high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2016-17 school year.

Regan Lingo and Ava Schwartz were also recognized as Scholars of Distinction, which are seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2016-17 school year.
