Elks Lodge appreciated for its Toys for Tots efforts

The Marine Corps League Diamond State Detachment 704 showed its appreciation to the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 for its support of the annual Toys for Tots Campaign with a luncheon at the Lewes lodge Feb. 8.
With the lodge’s, other community organizations and individuals’ support, the Toys For Tots Foundation, the United States Marine Corps Reserve and the Marine Corps League were able to collect, purchase and distribute over 14,400 toys to 4,370 needy children in Sussex County for the holiday season of 2017.
