Emma Louise Seigle Williamson, Sunday school teacher

"Granny" Emma Louise Seigle Williamson, 95, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at Wyngate at River's Edge in Proctorville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Hoff Seigle; her husband, Burnie Williamson; son Brian Craig Williamson; daughter Patricia June Williamson; four brothers, James, Mike, John and George Seigle; and four sisters, Mary Richards, Anna Barr, June Crum and Luella Braund.

Emma was a member of the TNT Club - Thirteen Thrifty Teens from William Penn High School in Harrisburg, Pa., and a member of Christian Women's Club. She was a devoted Sunday school teacher for 50 years at Beulah Baptist Church. Emma is survived by a daughter, Sharyn Williamson Smith and her husband Fred of Rehoboth Beach; son Bruce David Williamson and his wife Phoebe of St. Croix, USVI; granddaughters Kathryn Chianesi, Amy Williamson and husband Martin Wojtowicz; great-grandsons Zeke Ramey and Nathaniel Chianesi, all of Proctorville; many nieces and nephews of the local and Harrisburg areas loved and will miss their Aunt Emmie.

A private burial was held at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, with Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville assisting the family.
