VIA enriches culture for youth with Coastal Concerts grants

Free admission for adult and youth attending together March 17
March 10, 2018

Building on its illustrious history of giving to the community at large, the Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach has given a very thoughtful and generous grant to Coastal Concerts. The grant will enable children age 18 and younger and an accompanying adult to attend the organization’s concerts free of charge with advance registration.

Coastal Concerts also has a policy to offer discounted $10 admission to full-time students 19 and older, and to active-duty and retired career military personnel. Valid IDs are required at the door for discounted tickets.

The board of directors and volunteers for Coastal Concerts are very grateful for this gift that reinforces the organization’s mission to foster interest in classical music and encourage participation, especially among children.

Performances are held at Bethel United Methodist Church, Fourth and Market streets, Lewes. The next concert will feature the violin, cello, guitar and flute quartet Fandango at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 17. Attendees may bring a youngster to this energized performance and both be admitted free if advance reservations are made by calling 888-212-6458.
