Esposito elected chairman of BBB Delaware Board of Directors

Gerard L. Esposito, president of Tidewater Utilities Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Middlesex Water, will serve as chairman of Delaware's Better Business Bureau. Esposito has been serving on the Better Business Bureau Delaware Executive Committee since 2013 and brings extensive private- and public-sector leadership as well as nonprofit board leadership to this position.

He serves on numerous boards and committees including Delaware Solid Waste Authority, Delawareans for Environmental and Economic Development, Diamond State Port of Wilmington and the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce.

BBB's Board of Directors sees a passing of the torch as Lisa Detwiler, SSD Technology Partners CEO, steps down as chair and Esposito takes over. Kevin Ognibene of Sallie Mae assumes the position of vice chair.
