Faith M. Powell, dedicated mother

Faith M. Powell, 74, of Lewes, formerly of Coatesville, Pa., passed away at home Friday, July 22, 2016. She was born in Coatesville July 21, 1942, the daughter of the late George Maris Hoskins and Isabella (Ciriglona) Hoskins.

For over 35 years, Faith was employed with Pepperidge Farms in Downingtown and Denver, Pa. She was a dedicated mother who cherished "her boys" and her grandchildren immensely. She loved to cook, Facebook, and keep in touch with her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Walter A. Powell Sr., with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

In addition to her parents, Faith was preceded in death by her brother, George Hoskins; and her beloved grandson, Kyle A. Powell.

She is survived by her husband, Walter A. Powell Sr., of Lewes; her four sons: Martin L. Lockhart and his wife Anita, of Downingtown, George M. Lockhart and his wife Jo Ann of Narvon, Pa., Aaron K. Powell and his wife Dawn of Ephrata, Pa., and Walter A. Powell Jr. of Bangkok, Thailand; her 12 grandchildren: Danielle Williams, Kristina Mazzula, Anita Rose Mazzula, Maris Lockhart, Kaela Lockhart, Ryan Lockhart, Kirk Powell, Brittany Matuson, Brooklyn Powell, Jackson Powell, Taylor Powell and Tara Powell; her great-granddaughter Emilia Williams, and another great-grandchild on the way; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 28, at the Harris Mountain Funeral and Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
