Farr Engineering opens full-service office in Southern Delaware

Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce members welcomed Farr Engineering with a ribbon cutting May 13. Farr Engineering and Farr Real Estate Engineering have opened a full-service engineering office in Southern Delaware. The sister companies provide engineering services tailored to their select client base.

Farr Engineering provides traditional engineering services for land developers, builders, and commercial-sector and municipal clients. Farr Real Estate Engineering specifically caters to the residential community and small businesses, tailoring the engineering to their unique needs for tasks such as home inspections, municipal permits, site planning and resolving building code issues.

Both companies are owned by Jim Farr, PE, a licensed professional engineer with over 30 years of hands-on engineering experience. Carol-Ann Buchanan is the project manager for Farr Real Estate Engineering, and she manages the needs of residential and small business clients from project initiation through completion.
