February classes for kids set at Mispillion Art League

Mispillion Art League in Milford announced its February classes for kids.

For Kids First Saturday, Valentine Gifts with Judy Struck is set Feb. 4. From 10 to 11 a.m., ages 5 to 8 will have class. From 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., ages 9 to 13 will meet. Students will paint their own Valentine candy dishes and fill them with treats for someone special. Cost is $15 for members and $30 for nonmembers.

For Kids Tuesdays, Putting It All Together with Kim Hanna is set Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Students in kindergarten through third grade will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. Students in fourth through sixth grades will meet from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Collage, or the assemblage of different materials, is a great way to have fun while learning basic elements of art like color, shape and texture. Using bits and pieces of handmade paper, photographs, found objects and paint, students will piece together a whole new unique creation. Cost is $45 for members, $55 for nonmembers.

For homeschool class, Putting It All Together with Kim Hanna is set Fridays, Feb. 10, 17 and 24. Students in kindergarten through third grade will meet from 1 to 2 p.m., and students in fourth through sixth grades will meet from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. to learn about collage. Cost is $35 for members, $45 for nonmembers.
