Fordham and Dominion Brewing Co. Halloween Hustle 10K set Oct. 29

October 1, 2016

The Fordham and Dominion Brewing Co. Halloween Hustle 10K is set for Saturday, Oct. 29, bringing Delaware runners a new option. It is a unique race with a fantastic finish-line festival.

The Great American Brewery Runs is a series of fun races that celebrate that iconic connection between a great run and a great post-run beer. The Halloween Hustle 10K starts and finishes at Fordham and Dominion Brewery in Dover. Since it is on Halloween weekend, costumes are highly encouraged but not required. The race is designed to celebrate the release of Dominion Oktoberfest lager with a beautiful rural run. It is chip timed and wheel measured.

But the fun does not stop at the finish line. The festival continues for four hours after the race, and all runners and spectators get free admission. Eric 13 and the Whiskey Bending Cowboys will be playing live for runners to relax, enjoy the sunshine with a beer and brewery tours. Olé Tapas food truck will be on hand as well.

The swag is also unique. Instead of the traditional T-shirt and a medal, all runners will receive a commemorative glass beer stein (full of one free Oktoberfest beer to runners age 21 and older). Plus, the race has a custom designed exclusive metal coaster with bottle opener for all finishers. For more information and to register, go to www.HalloweenHustle10K.com.
