Fourth Annual Drive Away Hunger Golf Outing set Oct. 1

Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach presents the 4th Annual Drive Away Hunger Golf Outing, Saturday, Oct. 1, at the American Classic Golf Club, Lewes. This event is sponsored in part by Jack Lingo, Realtor.

Hosted by the church's Simpson's Men's Group, the golf outing will benefit the Church Food & Love Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry at Epworth, and Immanuel Shelter.

According to Evans Shearon, one of the event coordinators, the Simpson's Men's Group shares a strong commitment to help drive hunger out of the community, and the golf outing has grown to be the group's flagship fundraising event of the year.
