Francis E. Kline, management analyst

Francis E. Kline, 86, of Dagsboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. He was born in North East, Md., June 8, 1931, son of the late Delbert Kline and Frances (Meekins) Kline.

Mr. Kline retired in 1986 from the U.S. government, having worked for 32 years at the Aberdeen Proving Ground as a management analyst. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Kline was a member of the Community Lutheran Church in Frankford, and also was a 32 degree Past Master of the Masonic Lodge  48 in Elkton, Md.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary E. (Bibb) Kline; his son, Doug Kline and wife Jane of West Chester, Pa.; his brother, Jim Kline and wife Betty of Chesapeake City, Md.; his sister, Ida Gordon of North East; his granddaughter, Rebecca Kline of West Chester, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m., at the Community Lutheran Church ELCA, 30897 Omar Road, Frankford. Entombment will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Lutheran Church, 30897 Omar Road, Frankford, DE 19945.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, Ocean View.
