Frank L. Bach, life of the party

Frank L. Bach, 88, of Millsboro, widower of Lillian J. (O'Connell) Bach, passed away suddenly Monday, March 13, 2017. Born Oct. 10, 1928, in Royersford, Pa., he was the son of the late William H. and Myrtle V. (Page) Bach.

Frank served in the U.S. Navy during World War II for two years in the Pacific Theater and six years in the Navy Reserves. Frank worked 48 years in the glass industry, retiring in 1992. Frank was a member of the Millsboro American Legion Post 28.

Frank enjoyed golfing, woodworking, working in the yard, and helping anyone who needed a hand. He was the life of every party he attended.

Surviving are his children, Lynda G. Bach and Bridget A. Choyce of Newport, N.C., Diane L. Bach and Margret O'Malley of Adrian, Mich., Cheryl A. (Robert L.) Imes of Schwenksville, Pa., and Randy S. Bach; and grandchildren Steven R. Bach and Allivia L. Bach; along with many nieces and nephews.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents William H. Bach and Myrtle V. (Page) Bach; and his brothers William H. (Dorothy) Bach, Harry E. (Jayne) Bach, Ida L. (William) Reifsnyder, Charles R. (Marie) Bach Sr., and Berniece V. (Emanuel) Wezel.

Frank will be buried with his wife at the Limerick Garden of Memories in Royersford. Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, and Cattermole, Klotzbach in Royersford.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to American Legion Post 28.
