Frankford man faces drug charges

A Frankford man faces charges after police found him with drugs and suspected drug money in Millsboro.

Desmone Justice was wanted by Delaware State Police when Millsboro police spotted him about 11 a.m. Oct. 4, getting into a vehicle near Old Landing Apartments, said Cpl. David Moyer of the Millsboro Police Department.

Police contaced Justice and detected an odor of marijuana, said Moyer. After searching Justice, he said, police found about 12 grams of marijuana on him.

Police then searched Justice’s vehicle and found 45 bags of heroin, 17.8 grams of cocaine, two suboxone films, various types of drug paraphernalia and more than $18,000 in suspect drug proceeds, Moyer said. 

Justice was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $20,500 cash bond and also $3,100 for an outstanding warrant.
