Franklin Pasher Ketterman, owned masonry business

Franklin Pasher Ketterman, 70, of Dagsboro, passed away Sunday,  Dec. 3, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He was born March 19, 1947, in Salisbury, Md., and attended school at John M Clayton. Frank was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968. He served his country in the Vietnam War. Frank's civilian trade was that of a mason; he owned and operated his own masonry business.

Frank was joined in matrimony to Shirley J. Upchurch Oct. 10, 1978; married for 39 years. Frank loved being on the beach, fishing and going to the horse races.

He is survived by his wife Shirley J. Ketterman; two sons, Duane A. Ketterman (wife Jessica) and William J. Ketterman (wife Marcia); five grandchildren, Mckenna J. Ketterman, Karlie A. ORourke, Hunter, Conner and Georgia Grace; one sister, Jackie Steele (husband Brice); nieces Lauren Marvel and Jamie Goslee; extended family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Georgeanna and William Ketterman; and sister, Judy Rodgers.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, Dec. 8, at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro. Public viewing hours are from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Perry Mears is the officiant. Military honors service will commence at 1 p.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
