Frederick family gives thanks to all

October 26, 2017

The Frederick family is grieving the loss of our son and brother Tom, who died Oct. 9 in a traffic accident on Coastal Highway. In the midst of that grief, however, we still have much for which we are grateful. We are profoundly thankful that no one else was killed that day. We also offer our heartfelt thanks to those who were there at the scene and in the hours afterward: Sally Laux, a private citizen, who held Tom’s hand as emergency crews arrived; Delaware State Police Troop 7; Lewes Fire Department; Sussex EMS; Beebe Healthcare Emergency Department; Beebe grief counselors; and numerous individuals who offered a pat on the shoulder or nod of sympathy as we moved through that day. We live in a wonderful community.
