Frederick Pershing Leger, electrical engineer

Frederick Pershing Leger, 87, of Bridgeville, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Manor House, Seaford. He was born in Queens Village, N.Y., Friday, Oct. 31, 1930, son of the late Fred Leger and Sophie (Cook) Leger.

Mr. Leger was an electrical engineer by trade, and had worked for DLC Corporation in Long Island, N.Y., for over 30 years, retiring in the late 1980s.

Mr. Leger was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred I. Leger who passed in February 2017; his son, Lee Boyer; his daughter, Lynn Tocci; and a granddaughter, Arlene Colagrande. He is survived by two grandchildren, Tony Colagrande and Tracy Tocci.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 13, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, where friends may call beginning at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow the services at Bridgeville Cemetery, Market and Laws streets, Bridgeville.
