Diabetes is one of the most common problems in the United States today, with over 26 million Americans affected by the disease. Diabetes is on the rise and is the leading cause of blindness, amputation, kidney failure, and neuropathy in the United States. Anyone with diabetes knows it’s important to manage insulin levels, but is medication all one can do? Rees’s presentation will address functional medicine approaches to supporting people with diabetes.

With over 30 years of chiropractic wellness care, as well as being a certified functional medicine practitioner, Rees has extensive hands-on experience treating patients with diabetes. His presentation will help attendees understand state-of-the-art research explained in simple language. He will discuss ways to improve vitality and energy levels, reduce the need for costly medication, and reduce the risk for heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Rees will be available after each presentation for questions and answers.

The presentations are sponsored by Functional Chiropractic, 506 Union St., Milton; for details, call 302-684-1995.
